Filming Diary

December

3rd

  • Started the filming in Tom's house, it is the scenes at the end of the music video when Eliot (the main protagonist) is getting back into bed.
  • Then went to Eliot's house and did the scene where he sets up the dinner table expecting his girlfriend to come round and also were the plates are smashed. We also did another bit of filming when Charlie does the tear drop where we use it to reverse it.

  • Today we mainly focused on doing the rapping, we first started  doing the part in the car, where Eliot is driving and Charlie is in the back rapping to the song. We then moved to various different locations such as in Eliots garden where we filming Charlie rap again, but we decided to do a high angle shot to mix it up, and also to show that we could do different angles. The last two rapping parts where one where Charlie was sitting on the wall rapping and the other one was where he was standing  in front of a wall, we finished all the parts we needed for the rapping.

  • Today we did the main bulk of the music video, most of the main parts we had missed out on such as the start where charlie is shown to be walking behind Eliot. We also used today as a time to make any corrections that we thought should be changed. We did a big chunk of the music video today and it was looking very promising to finish our music video ready for editing when we wanted too.

  • Today we started to do the start of the music video, where we use a different piece of music to show a sort of background for the reason why we are doing the music video, where the main protagonist (Eliot Byrne) is going to his Ex-Girlfriends house and sees her with another boy, this part of the video really shows the reason on why we are doing the music video. Today was also the deadline where we wanted to music video to be finished to start editing the video, and we successfully completed it.

Overall we thought it was a good idea to keep a diary, so we could keep on track with what we were doing and what parts we had done, it also kept us on track so we knew when we wanted certain things finished by, it really helped to keep the group on a whole, on track.
