Eyes, My eyes
tears won't fall from my eyes
Eyes, My eyes
tears won't fall from my eyes
don't wanna cry
don't wanna cry
tears won't fall from my eyes
don't wanna cry
don't wanna cry
tears won't fall from my eyes
no matter if i break down inside
tears wont fall from my eyes
no matter if i feel it inside
tears wont fall from my eyes

Tinie
listen b we need to talk
cause i'm feelin sort of
like leavin off cause like
we resort to some illest
arguments of which i feel
is sorted
so i feel we ought to just
leave this now
cause if secret rowls
ever leave this house
we'd be the talk of the town
like harven and leesh
and believe me girl i don't need this now
and you don't either
b we're both young
so crazy in love and so sprung
it's overwhelming and babe
i just need space to breathe like both lungs
don't ask for no choice cause i won't run
don't ask me to link cause i won't come
it's done but it still all depends
if you want we can still be friends
she's like I

don't wanna cry
don't wanna cry
tears won't fall from my eyes
don't wanna cry
don't wanna cry
tears won't fall from my eyes
no matter if i break down inside
tears wont fall from my eyes
no matter if i feel it inside
tears wont fall from my eyes

lets not be sorely yea
like carly said
no hugs no layin down on the bed
no compliments
and no more baby names
with my surname on the end
one year thats still an accomplishment
so lets leave on good terms
no regrets yea?
but if they feel like
girls get comfort from your friends
look babe its rude to beg
why you on all fours like donkey legs
what part of it's over dont you get?
it's over now i just don't belive it like ???
and in this thing i'm the champ
and yea i'm hurt but i'll pretend that i'll

don't wanna cry
don't wanna cry
tears won't fall from my eyes
don't wanna cry
don't wanna cry
tears won't fall from my eyes
no matter if i break down inside
tears wont fall from my eyes
no matter if i feel it inside
tears wont fall from my eyes

I've been polite you won't listen
right your so different
your the same as the rest
now we're chancin relaxin
like we're both kissin
what happened too dissin
your exboyfriend and acting like you don't miss him
can't you see it's like there's no vision
there's no me and you we're both missin
and tears won't fall out from my eyes
sorry babe theres no drippin
i ain't got no tears left
darlin, sweety, dearest
you need to hear this
you've been aware
that we've been a pair of kids
so b lets just leave it where it is
my hearts broken
but there's someone else
and i'm hoping she repairs the bits
look i just

don't wanna cry
don't wanna cry
tears won't fall from my eyes
don't wanna cry
don't wanna cry
tears won't fall from my eyes
no matter if i break down inside
tears wont fall from my eyes
no matter if i feel it inside
tears wont fall from my eyes

Planning - History of Music Videos

Firstly i found it vital to research music videos and how they started. This would then lead me to the development of music videos over the years to see the purpose and reasons behind making music videos.

The earliest records of a music video being made where from a company called Vitaphone which were produced by Warner Brothers. Around the 1930s these videos featured many bands, vocalists and dancers. The videos, once known as shorts, where around 6 minutes in duration and typically featured art deco style animations and backgrounds combined with film of the performer singing the song.
Here is an example of an early music video

Around the 1940s music videos started being produced as one song films called 'promotional clips' for the panoram visual jukebox. Thousands of these were made and mainly for the genre of jazz.

In the late 1950s the Scopitone, a visual jukebox, was invented in France and short films were produced by many French artists, such as Serge Gainsbourg, Françoise Hardy and Jacques Dutronc to accompany their songs. In 1964 there seemed to be a breakthrough as 'the animals' song was made into a high quality colour clip. Videos began to be made in specially built sets and editing with tracking shots, close ups and long shots.

From the 1960s onward there was an onset with many different bands wanting to have a music video produced and plots were started to be developed for the videos to accompany the songs and lyrics. These promotional clips began to rapidly grow in importance as bands and artists wanted to find something new to set them apart from the others.

It was not until 1974 that music videos where given a program on TV which was devoted to showing them. DJ Graham Webb launched a weekly teen-oriented TV music show which screened on Sydney's ATN-7 on Saturday mornings. This then led to many other programs such as BBC's 'top of the pops' which was very successful.

Following this there where Channels launched solely for showing music videos. MTV launched in 1981 and beginning an era of 24-hour-a-day music on television. This raised the significance of a song having a video as the next new thing was around the clock music to watch. This is when music videos where made main steam.

Currently there are many different music channels which have branched out into set genres. Also now music videos have reached a demand on the Internet with the rise of sites such as youtube. Music videos now are made to promote the video and for advertising purposes, along with making the song more appealing. From the 1930s onwards technology has increase and with this the desire to make a music video has. There has been a definite shift in the patterns of music as in the 1930s it was rare for a music video to be made, whereas now it can be said to be rare for a song to be release and not be able to find a music video to accompany it, either on the Internet or music channels.

Planning/Research/Knowledge - Musical Genre - Tears

The musical genre of Tinie Tempah - Tears is Hip Hop. However, Tinie Tempah was one of the first British artists to change the direction of what is now known as 'old school hip hop' into more of the 'Grime' variety. Grime is a much heavier style of rapping with less musical variety and focusing primarily on the words and rhyming within the song. However Tinie does not visit this genre much and stays within the mainstream variety of Hip Hop which is present today. Be this as it may, one of his first songs, 'Tears' is not the type of mainstream hip hop which is present today. It has a bigger inclination to the 'old school hip hop' genre, with lighter beats and usually not rapping about crime, violence, drugs, women or objectifying or glorifying anything which is to be seen as "gang-related". It is a sort of genre which can sometimes be seen as trying to get a positive message across, or usually telling a story from the heart. The song 'Tears' in this case falls under the category of telling a story from the heart. It is not straight rapping throughout the video, and it has a female singer (Cleo Sol) present during the song. We chose this song because of this reason, and we could all relate to the song in the sense that it is one of the genre's of hip hop that we all once loved before it had been taken over by the over produced and auto-tuned variety that you see in music today.

Planning - Tinie Tempah

Patrick Chukwuemeka Okogwu (born 7 November 1988),better known by his stage name Tinie Tempah, is an English rapper. He made his first mixtape in 2007 with 28 songs, freestyles and remixes, featuring Mz BrattChipmunk and G-Unit. His first album, Disc-Overy, debuted at number one on 10 October 2010 and was preceded by the number-one singles "Pass Out" and "Written in the Stars" and the UK Top 5 hits "Frisky" and "Miami 2 Ibiza".

In 2006, Tempah gained a great deal of airplay on British music TV channel, Channel AKA, for his song "Tears" and then in late 2007, he collaborated on a track with grime artist Ultra and producers/songwriters Agent X. The song was titled "Perfect GCD Hood Economics Room 147". He toured with Chipmunk in February 2010. His first break as a musician came when Sony launched its PlayStation Portable (PSP) and used a track entitled "Listen To The Vibe" featuring Yasmin and DJ Ironik, and "Atlantic/Warner" for the futuristic racing game, Wipeout Pure. This resulted in a promotional European tour alongside the likes of Sway and Dizzee Rascal.

Tears was one of Tinie's very first songs which took him on the course to fame. It was the key starting point for his career in the music industry as it was the song which got him a huge fan base (primarily young teens at this time) and spotted by producers around the country.
